Smash Mouth, Foreign Figures set to rock Richmond on Saturday

Smash Mouth and local band Foreign Figures will close Cherry Peak's Summer Concert Series in Richmond on Saturday.

The largely country-dominated concert series will rock and roll to the end of its summer season at 7 p.m.

Indie/pop band Foreign Figures are looking forward to being on the same bill as Smash Mouth.

"If you're a human being, there's a way we can connect with you while we're on stage," said Seth Dunshee, bass player for Foreign Figures. "We try to be as genuine as possible."

As the year closes Foreign Figures still has much on their plate, including the release of a cover song by the end of September, a string of music videos, and a new two song EP in October.

Smash Mouth will continue touring across the country, with dates spanning through Colorado, and Northern California.
